About Us
Our Mission...
Guiseley Senior Citizens Association has been a registered charity since 1991.
We are totally voluntary group of committee members and our primary aim is to raise funds all year round to support the annual outing to the seaside.
How it all started...
In 1990, 18 pensioners each donated a 50p piece to start a fund designed to take old folk on a day out to the coast. That was the start of Guiseley Senior Citizens Association and also the start of a dream for founder chairman Mrs Marian Ealham, of Yeadon. In 1991 the first annual trip was to Llandudno.
Come and meet us...
We have a regular coffee morning, at the Guiseley Methodist Church on Oxford Road, where we meet all our friends for a chat in a lovely atmosphere. See the upcoming dates on our Events page
Our network...
AVSED is a local charity also supporting Aireborough seniors and we work closely with them and where possible we co-ordinate our activities and share ideas.

Caring for Senior Citizens
Guiseley Senior Citizens Association is a charitable organisation run by unpaid volunteers. Our constitution is simple "We raise money to fund an annual seaside trip for the senior citizens of Guiseley."
